Kathleen Adele Dauchy, 64, of Kealia died on Feb. 28 at her home. Born in Cooperstown, N.Y., she was an architectural designer, freelance artist and a linguist’s expert. Services planned. Survived by husband, Reginald Mac Hawkins of Kealia; son, Theron (Lucia) Dauchy of Kahuku; grandson, Francis Dauchy of Kahuku; sisters, Patricia Dauchy of Oregon, Theresa Dauchy and Tonilu Dauchy of Alaska. Kiyomi Ishida Murai, 93, of Hilo died Monday, April 1, at the Hilo Life Care Center. Born in Papaikou, she was a homemaker and worked at Fashion House and Hilo Hattie’s, and was a member of Hilo Meishoin, Hilo Meishoin Fujinkai, Hiroshima Kenjinkai, and University Extension. Survived by sons, Gordon (Ellen) of Honolulu and Harold (Linda) of Sacramento, Calif.; sister, Iris Goya of Gardena, Calif.; brothers, Tamio of Honolulu, Kenneth of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Yoshie Ogata, 88, of Kealakekua died March 16 at her residence. Born in Kealakekua, she was a retired cook for Kona Community Hospital and member of Kona Hongwanji Mission, Konawaena Kumiai and Kona Regional Senior Citizens. Private services held. Fujiko Rillanos, 91, of Paauhau died March 21 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua. Born in Paauhau, she was a laborer for the former Paauhau Sugar Plantation Company and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa.
